This page details any changes that I have made to the site. This will hopefully help any regular visitors.

20/Feb/10 Updates to this site are like buses, you wait 2 years and then 2 come along together :-). Added details of a new free mini guide produced by the orange house to the Via Ferrata page.
17/Feb/10 Crickey, nearly 2 years since my last update. Sorry folks, I have been climbing in Sardinia the last couple of years. It is VERY nice there, by the way.

I have added a video of the Via Ferrata on the Ponoch to the Via Ferrata page.

29/Feb/08 Added details of the road to Sella being Re-opened.
19/Dec/07 Added links to a couple of videos of the Espolon Central route on Puig Campana.
17/Dec/07 Added a new map to the Segaria Barranco Buttresses guide to make it easy to find the crags.
4/Dec/07 Added details of another set of accommodation in Sella, Casa Roc, to the Accommodation page.
3/Dec/07 Added a new recommendation for the Aqua Ventura accommodation so thanks to Tom Ripley for this.

Added some information about the road to Sella being closed again. Thanks to Casaroc for this.

1/Dec/07 Added another vote for the awesome Espolon Central on Puig Campana.

Added contact details of another car hire company, Centauro, to the Driving page.

26/Nov/07 Added new Character and Tips section to the Puig Campana page.
18/Nov/07 Added details of a Spanish guide to the Cabezon de Oro mountain to Spanish Guides page.
17/Nov/07 Added a new page for the Pena Rubia crag inland from Alicante.

Updated some rather out of date information on the Cabezon de Oro page.

19/Sept/07 Re-worked the entry for Richard Mayfield on the Guides and Courses page.

Thoroughly re-worded the entry for the Moraira Sea Cliffs. There is a strict ban on many of the old routes at this venue a locally published guide showing what is allowed so its important to check out these changes if you are interested in checking out this spectacular area.

18/Sept/07 Thoroughly updated the Bouldering section of the Climbing page.

Thoroughly updated the Deep Water Solo section of the same page.

13/Sept/07 Fixed a number of broken links, improved the Favourites voting form and fixed the counter on the home page. You can't just leave websites alone you know, they slowly fall apart.
02-May-07 Added details of a brand new Via Ferrata on the Ponoch to the Via Ferrata page. This has some spectacular positions and is well worth checking out.

Added a link to a very good guide to The Castle of Salvatierra via ferrata. This has all the information you may require to climb this route so check it out.

24/Apr/07 Added a section about the topo guide to the Bernia Ridge to the Scrambles page. This is a fantastic ridge scramble and this is the best guide that I have come across.
23/Apr/07 Added details of an article written by Simon Jacques to the bouldering section of the Climbing page.
21/April/07 I have added details of the google map to the Segaria South Face page. The directions and map in the Rockfax guide are wrong so check this out if you are interested in heading up to Segaria.
18/April/07 I have created a google map to show how to get to the Segaria Barranco Buttresses. This should really help people as the roads around the area have changed a lot recently.
02/April/07 Added two new routes, Nana & Captain Hook, to the Segaria South Face. Hey, you can't complain we're not staying within theme.
30/Mar/07 More routes added to the Lost Bay area of the Segaria Barranco guide.
04/Jan/07 Re-arranged the Segaria pages following a large amount of development in the Barranco Buttresses area. I have produced a new PDF guide to this area. 
05/Oct/06 Added details of an article that appeared in the Climber magazine that covers the DWS routes that have recently been established in the Costa Blanca.
04/Oct/06 Add a new section to the Other Crags page detailing the Sombra de Leon crags below Ponoch. There is also a link to a topo guide for these crags.
25/Sept/06 Added a link to the 2005 newsletter of the Mountain Federation of Valencia to the Canyoning page. This newsletter carries a detailed article on some of the larger canyoning routes in the Costa Blanca.
24/Sept/06 Added a couple of new tips to the Echo Valley page.

Added a new section to the Echo Valley page detailing where the old Echo Valley topos can be found that were left out of the current edition of the Rockfax guide.

18/Sept/06 Added details of a new scramble, the Crest of Benicadell, to the Scrambles page.
11/Sept/06 Added a new link to the walking information page on the the Adbet.com website to the Other Activities page.

Added details of another canyon, Barranco de Meli to the Canyoning page.

Added a new link to the Canyoning Routes page of the the Costa Blanca Mountain Friends website to the Canyoning page.

Added a new link to the Scramble Routes page of the the Costa Blanca Mountain Friends website to the Scrambles page.

Added a new link for the Costa Blanca Mountain Friends website to the Links page.

Added an index to the top of the Other Crags page. Hopefully this should help people navigate around this page.

08/Sept/06 Added some more new routes to the Segaria Routes page.
07/Sept/06 Added the Barranco Buttresses section of routes to the Segaria Routes page.

Added details of a new via ferrata, Ferrata de Villena to the Via Ferrata page.

06/Sept/06 Added a new deep water solo section to The Climbing page.

Fixed all the Costa Blanca Rock links. They were pointing to an out of date address.

22/Apr/06 Added a new favourite route to the Favourites section of the Marin page. Thanks to Carolyn Scott for this recommendation.
11/Apr/06 Added a new favourite route to the Favourites section to the Other Crags page. This one was for Show de yemas at Ibi.

03/Nov/05 Added an Important Note to the Segaria page. There is a mistake on the map in the Rockfax so check out the corrected directions .

13/Apr/05 Have updated the Via Ferrata page with a couple of photos and details of an article that I have had published.
11/Apr/05 Have received several warnings that rangers have been moving people on from the main car parks at Sella so I have added a warning to the tips section.
08/Apr/05 Added a new page dedicated to the Olta crag. This has some fine single-pitch routes and is home the Costa Blanca's most photogenic view.
04/Apr/05 Added a new picture to the weather information on the Time to Climb page. This one is of snow!!!!
22/Mar/05 A new favourite route added to the Sella favourites section - Kamikaze, a nice little 7a+. 
21/Mar/05 I have implemented a whole new guestbook. This one allows me to view the posts before they appear so no more spam. So who wants to be the first to sign?
10/Mar/05 Added some details of new bouldering developments at Olta and Sella and a plan to publish a downloadable mini-guide to the Bouldering section of the Climbing page.
02/Mar/05 Added some extra details about the campsites to the Accommodation page.
25/Feb/05 Added details of the new Costa Blanca guide from RockFax to the English Guidebooks page. This really is the definitive guide to the region now so check out the details.
11/Feb/05 Added a link to some comments on the Guiding Light company to their entry on the Local Guides & Courses page.
28/Jan/05 Added a Web Cams section to the Time to Climb page.
25/Jan/05 Apparently the whole of the Moraira Sea Cliffs is under a ban from the local council although climbing is 'tolerated' on the 'original' routes. I have added a warning to this effect to the Moraira page.
24/Jan/05 Added a link to the Costa Blanca Rock website to the Moraira Sea Cliffs page. Also added a new tip warning of climbing restrictions in the gully area.

Added an entry for the Abdet website to the list of sites that carry topos on the Guidebooks & Topos page.

21/Jan/05 Added some directions to Segaria.
18/Jan/05 Added a new image to the Pirates of the Caribbean entry on the Toix Sea Cliffs.
12/Jan/05 Added details of some spectacular new routes on the Toix Sea Cliffs to the Toix page. Thanks to Richard Mayfield for these details and good effort on the routes they look awesome.
11/Jan/05 Added some details of new developments in the Guadalest valley to the Other Crags page. Thanks to Abdet.com for permission to link to these.

Added a link to the RockFax map of the region to The Climbing page.

18/Nov/04 Added some more details about the El Moro route to the Puig Campana page.
10/Nov/04 Added a feedback article written by a friend who has been on two trips with Compass West.  It gives a good idea of the content of the courses and makes them sound very exciting. Thanks to Colin Eccles for this.

Added new routes to the Segaria Routes page and update the relevant topo.

Added a new Favourites route to the Puig Campana page. EL Moro is not a route in the RockFax guide so if anyone has any further information then feel free to let me know - [email protected]

04/Nov/04 Major restructured the whole topo / route description information for Segaria on the Segaria Routes page. Added new pages, new topos and new information.
03/Nov/04 Added a new panorama to the Segaria page. This gives some idea of the scale of the south side of the ridge. However even this only shows a small part of it. Thanks to Trent Rosenbaum for the photos and Chris Lilley for the stitch work.

28/Oct/04 Added a topo to the Segeria Routes page for the Never Never Land area.
25/Oct/04 Added a new page for the Puig Campana. This is primarily made up from details that already existed on my Other Crags page. However, I have also added an interesting article written by Robert Lillywhite and Chris Haynes that details the Espolón Central route. Thanks guys for the article.
20/Oct/04 Added a new section to the Segaria page detailing how you to can get involved in developing this exciting ridge.

Added a couple of routes to the My Favourite Routes section of the Segaria page and added a link so that you can vote for your own.

Added a tips section to the Segaria page.

Correctly credited Chris Lilley for both the panorama of the Bernia Ridge and Segaria. So thanks again for these.

19/Oct/04 Added a new page for the Segaria ridge. This is a new routers paradise. Currently holds 15 routes on a 4km long ridge!
18/Oct/04 Following a fantastic day out on the Bernia Ridge I have update this section in the Scrambles page.
06/Oct/04 Added some new pictures of the bouldering on Les Rotes beach to the Bouldering section of the The Climbing page.
21/Sep/04 Added a new entry for the Compass West website to the Guidebooks & Topos page. The Compass West website carries topos and descriptions to the various new development by the Edwards family. Many of these look like fantastic routes and well worth checking out.

Added a new section to the Climbing page. This details the bouldering at Montesa. Sounds like the Costa Blanca finally has some decent bouldering so check out the details.

20/Sep/04 Added a brand new page dedicated to the fantastic Echo Valley. Thanks go to Tom Phillips, of the Abdet accommodation website, for allowing me to link to the topos of the new and exciting developments in the echo valley.
17/Sep/04 Added details of another Spanish guide to the Spanish Guides page. This one is a selective guide to 112 routes on crags throughout the Valencia and Alicante region.
16/Sep/04 Added a link to the Abdet.com website to the Accommodation page. This offers 2 cottages of self catering accommodation situated in the beautiful Guadalest valley.

Added a link to the Mountain Biking section of the Other Activities page. This links to some details on the Abdet.com website.

Added another link to the Mountain Biking section of the Other Activities page. This one links to an article by Rich Mayfield (he of the Orange House fame).

08/Sep/04 I have created a brand new page detailing the Via Ferrata on El Cid. This carries a link to another new page that has a translation of the article originally produced by the Mountain Federation of Valencia. Thanks go to both Gary Watson for the translation and to the Mountain Federation for their permission to publish the translation.

Added a new page on Moraira Sea Cliffs. This is one of the crags that I have still not been too but I was starting to get enough contributions from others that it seemed worth its own page. Thanks to Nic Byham, Mike Gresham & Stuart Greenall for these.

Added a couple of new photos of the Barranco del Infierno canyon and created a new Canyoning page to hold all the useful information that people have been kind enough to send in. Thanks to Robin Symonds, Affenmagic and Sam 'Orange' for their contributions.
